Overview: Critical Maintenance Patch
Following the massive feature expansion of update 0.3.4, developer Team Nebula rolled out LoveManiac version 0.3.4.2. As a targeted maintenance patch, its sole objective was addressing critical community-reported bugs, stabilizing newly added character skin animations, and smoothing out combat input registration.
While maintenance patches lack headline-grabbing new items, version 0.3.4.2 proved vital for long-term playability, ensuring that playthroughs remain fluid and crash-free.
Battle Movement & Input Responsiveness Fix
The most impactful mechanical fix in 0.3.4.2 was resolving a subtle stutter in avatar movement during high-density bullet-hell phases. On certain hardware configurations, rapid directional inputs had occasionally resulted in frame drops or brief micro-freezes.
Team Nebula optimized the Godot engine collision polling loops, resulting in immediate, butter-smooth directional responsiveness. Whether dodging projectile rings on a mobile touch display or a PC mechanical keyboard, evasions now register with absolute fidelity. Resolving Skin Defeat Crashes
Version 0.3.4 had introduced two alternate character skins equipped with custom animations. However, players discovered that sustaining defeat while using these skins caused three specific defeat scenes to freeze or fail to load.
Patch 0.3.4.2 rectified all animation rigging and scene triggers for these defeat states, ensuring players can experiment with alternate skins without fear of losing unsaved progress.

Intro Restart & Scene Transition Fixes
Another frustrating issue resolved in this update was the Intro restart bug. Previously, selecting "Restart" or starting a new game from certain menu states caused the game to loop infinitely on the opening prologue screen. Patch 0.3.4.2 reset scene memory pointers correctly, enabling seamless restarts.
Additionally, the patch corrected the second round of the Ride scene, ensuring dialogue choices properly lead into expected comedic resolutions.
Nelson NPC Functionality Fix
The supporting NPC Nelson had experienced dialogue trigger anomalies where conversational flags would fail to register after certain overworld transitions. Version 0.3.4.2 restored Nelson's full dialogue progression.
